Ream is a membership platform for readers to join authors in getting access to their favorite stories, deleted scenes and other bonuses, merchandise + signed books, and other swag.

How Memberships Work on Ream:

  • Your membership is for each author individually. There is no overall membership to the Ream platform, instead, you pay only for the authors you want and support them directly.

  • You are charged upfront for your membership on Ream. This means you will be charged for the next month the moment you sign-up.

  • You can cancel your membership anytime on Ream. At the moment, when you cancel, you immediately lose access to your membership.

  • You can upgrade or downgrade your tier for any author at any time. Any upgrades will be pro-rated. That way if you pay $10 for one tier and want to join a $15 tier, you will only have to pay the difference between those tier amounts for your first month.

  • You are charged for your membership on the same day of the month that you originally signed up. This means if you joined an author's Ream on March 15th, you will be billed again for that charge on April 15th.

  • You can find all your existing memberships inside the memberships tab of your Ream account by clicking the three dots in the top right-hand corner.

Your Experience on Ream:

  • You can read books in multi-player mode inside Ream's social eReader. You can comment on each paragraph and see what other readers are saying about the books you love.

  • You can access an author's community, stories, and other updates all in one easy-to-use streamlined site.

  • You can read stories for free on Ream. Each author has control over which chapters they set as public or for paid members only. There are currently thousands of chapters free to read on the Ream site.

  • You can search for new authors on Ream at the search bar at the top right-hand corner of the screen. New story discovery options are coming soon.

  • You receive email notifications when authors release new chapters or community posts to your membership tier.
